Comments: this is probably my last map for UT

Jailbreak version made and included in JB install
4th place winner of MakeSomethingUnreal Phase 1 Best Level Using Original Content
Map is set in an old house. Scary atmosphere. Something terrible just happened on this calm summer night. For the complete background story see readme.
Version: 1.0
Compatibility: UT2004 with latest patch (3369)
Description: Of all temples built, Archanastre certainly isn´t the most decorated, but nonetheless it´s grounds and sober architecture are appreciated by many. That is, until the next match...
Comments: Formerly known as CTF-FMDDH9, this is the final version of what I believe is the map that has been longest in development in my spare time.. I started this map in February 2006 and the layout was refined, tweaked, placement was done over and over again with the help of a few trusty clans (shout to Clan FB and all other clans they scrimmed with to test this map). Theme has changed 6 times I believe, from high tech space station to oriental tunnel system to what it is right now. It's name and theme are inspired by 2 major cities in Final Fantasy XII (Archadia and Rabanastre), the theme is supposed to be very minimalist. Since I have a weak spot for BSP, most of the geometry etc is BSP rather than mesh... I think it's around 5700-5800 brushes. This is likely my last big project for UT2004. For further info, check out the readme.

Credits: Credit goes to Sander 'Saka' Kamps for providing me with most of the level's geometry textures, Aevirex for providing me with a few really cool banner textures and the sword and shield. Credit goes to Hazel 'HazelH' Whorley for allowing me to use a few models and textures from her CTF-UCMP4-Talya. Credit also goes to Carson 'Dregs' Smith for providing me with awesome custom weapon/pickup bases and a nice metal texture. Credit goes to Ben 'Slainchild' Edney for helping me with several problems with textures and decoration. Credit goes to Nathan 'Ender' Day for being with me to work on this level's placement since very early on and for providing me with a test scrim team, clan FB and credit to all those who have tested during these scrims. Finally, credit to the UCMP team for giving some feedback on
the level's progression.

UT2004 (3369)
Description:
A simple and fast CTF map that happens in a cavern under a lost forest (?) . . .
Comments:OK, this is a remake from a UT99 map, made by Jhonny-T, a member of the argentinean unreal community . . .
It took me a lot of time, I think more than a year . . . between technical difficculties and not enough time (a few hours in the weekends) . . . finally It´s done.

Version: 1.0 final
Requirements: UT2004 (patch 3369) and ECE1.1
Players: 6 to 16
This is my most ambitious map to date: custom scripted actors, scripted ai creatures, skinned and baked staticmeshes, xprocmeshes, vertex-animated meshes, plus my usual high-quality terrain.
The design of this map is story-driven with an RPG Fantasy style.
The gameplay is sort-of like the CTF-Face series.
Long ago, when time began and the universe was first taking form, the kingdoms of the elements of Earth and Air had made a truce and existed together in peace for countless millenia. But warring continued between the kingdoms of the elements of Fire and Water. Fire did persist to scorch Water, and Water held on to its power to extinguish Fire. Fire and Water believed that the winning kingdom would rise to be the fifth element: Aether.
See the DGUnreal web site for full map information and additional screenshots and more maps for download.
Keep the comments coming (likes and dislikes)... I take all into consideration for future maps.
Enjoy!

Deep within the emerald forest, far from civilization, where the pines rise like majestic rulers over the flora and fauna. The clouds drift in, delivering with them their sun-showers, drenching all things in their passing. In the midst of the tree-lined ridges, the battle for the flag begins...
Battle for the opposing team flag in a realistic hi-quality outdoor wilderness environment.
Note: Requires ECE Bonus Pack

Name: CTF-Divergence
Version: 1.0
Compatibility: UT2004
Description:

JB-Divergence (released a couple of weeks ago). The CTF version has new
routes and different weapon & playerstart locations, as well as
some minor visual changes.
"According to myth, this structure was sucked into the wormhole over a
thousand years ago from the orbit of a decaying planet. Nobody knows
it’s exact origins, purpose, or who built it. Plant life still thrives
here, and apart from the occasional asteroid collision, the building
remains mostly intact."
Comments:
Have fun!
Name: CTF-Kernel
Comments: This is an unusual ctf map performed in futuristic setting. There are three levels: upper, common and lower. Lower and common separated by glass. You can see your enemy carrying your flag, but you can't kill him thru the glass! (% There are also some fun features on this map. To prevent your brains from being damaged, I'd better say: this map is VERY unusual.
Description: No living creature remembers who constructed these giant skyscrapers eons ago. No one knows why they still function on this deserted planet..

The liandri Corporation has come across a poisons and acidic planet on sector B-1939. This planet was once thought to be of no use in till the operatives of Liandri flew in to see a structural anomaly. This Anomaly ended up being a skyscraper just passed the vast stream which was the name of the acidic clouds down below. This skyscraper holds very little history of what could have happened on this world. All we know is that the Liandri corporation has been mystified why the posters on the walls read in English as opposed to another language. The civilization must have been connected to the people on Earth. This is also oddly connected since a huge statue close to the skyscraper holds a globe of Earth. We can have two assumptions that either this planet was like Earth geologically or Earth somehow influenced these people. Very little knowledge was un covered on this vast building, liandri Corp has theorized that this planet was once in a great war of some kind and that the acidic remains are proof of this.
