Erstellt eine Originale Abbildung vom Spieler mit 15 HitPoints ! Durch diesen Mutator kann man den Gegner sehr einfach komplett verwirren.

Description: The Holocator projects a perfect holographic image of the user from each of its beacons which mimic the user's actions, useful for confusing enemies. Secondary fire recalls the beacons. Beacons have 15 health, and destroyed beacons cannot be recalled. Can be configured to replace any weapon.

Comments: Well, I finally got around to finishing this little mutator. It was a big pain indabutt.

Bots won't be fooled by the beacons, and the beacons are very fragile. If they are placed too close together they will interfere with each other if you move too fast, and any players running into a beacon will cause the beacon to be destroyed.

Tactical Shadows.. something to do with shadows and tactics?

That's right. You might be familiar with Bright Skins, which makes all the player models unnaturally bright so hardcore hitscan players make sure they can always see their enemies from afar. Even without Bright Skins, UT2004's player models are very bright ingame so that you can be clearly seen even if you are in complete shadow.

What Tactical Shadows does is make gameplay a little more interesting by removing the garish and stupidly bright lighting on the player models, meaning that you can now gain an advantage on your enemies by hiding in dark areas. UT2004's lighting is sometimes picky about how visible the model is, but if you have a hard time seeing yourself in an area with behindview (F4) then chances are your enemy will have an even harder time finding you.

The mutator of course works online since the concept of lighting visibility is completely lost on UT2004's bots. If you wish to run the mutator on your server, it would be advisable to add TacticalShadows to ServerPackages, and a typical command line would be:

In the fast and furious bloodfest that is Excessive, it's not about staying alive; it's about taking as many people as possible out with you.

Comments:
Excessive v3.02 is ready to go! I took this opportunity while fixing bugs to implement some ideas I had since the last release. Allowing for 6 weapons to be akimbo equipped, Assault Rifle, Bio Rifle, Shock Rifle, Flak Cannon, and the Rocket Launcher. You do not start equipped with akimbo weapons, except for the Assault Rifle. Your victim will drop a weapon ( if it is an akimbo weapon he was yielding ) which you can pickup to dual wield them. The default setting also keeps the Akimbo Weapons as pickups ( can be disabled server side ). I went a bit further while allowing excessive to work with UT2004RPG by including settings server side to disable ammo regeneration, allow ammo pickups, disable any weapon, enable/disable spawning of weapons, and allowing for all weapons to be spawned as pickups. Though I definatley recommend the default settings for a thoroughly over the top experience.
