 Das Hardcore Oldskool Low Poly (HOLP) Map Pack von Hourences, Sefyra, h0ok, Sabrewulf, Sjosz, Hazel, Slainchild und Barballs nimmt einzig und alleine das Movement in Angriff und lässt die Grafik sprichwörtlich links liegen. Ganz nach dem Motto *Oldskool* kommen auch Leute mit schwächeren PCs in den Genuss, Unreal Tournament 3 flüssig zu spielen.
- 9 Levels in total, 5 CTF and 4 DM levels.
- The focus is on great gameplay.
- Hardcore oldskool (think UT1) levels with minimum clutter, maximum gameplay, and somewhat decent visuals.
- Nearly all contributing level designers are professionally active within the games industry and all of them are European.
- Involved were Hourences, Sefyra, h0ok, Sabrewulf, Sjosz, Hazel, Slainchild, Barballs.
- Great perfomance.
- Wide range of themes and colors.
- No or limited bloom, depth of field, motion blur, normal maps, and so on.

Ja es ist wirklich soweit … Der LinuxDedicated Server ist nun endlich veröffentlicht wurden und kann ab sofort geladen werden. Die zurzeit beiden einzigen Mirrors sind schon absolut überlastet und geben nicht mehr viel Speed her. Wer wartet bekommt von uns demnächst ein Torrent präsentiert ;)

The Linux server is now available for download. It is built from the 1.1 patch, and is network compatible with all retail UT3 clients.
We feel pretty good about this build, but it should be considered beta for now, as it hasn't had the full wrath of the Internet applied to it yet. smile

As the download is 1.6 gigabytes, I assume that everyone is going to saturate those servers...I can upload individual copies to those that will mirror with high bandwidth from my Chicago-based server (please email me off-list), and encourage others to post mirrors here, too.
Comments and bug reports can go to this mailing list for now; we'll move to Bugzilla if need be, later.
To install: set the download to be executable and run it; it will show the license text and then unpack itself.

 Wer aus seinem Unreal Tournament 3 mehr als die Standarteinstellungen herauskitzeln möchte, der kommt um das Verändern der INI nicht herum. Da das Verändern der INI für Neulinge allerdings sehr schwer ist, erleichtern die bis jetzt erschienen Editoren dieses Vorhaben erheblich.
Mit Rad0ns InI-Editor kann man mit einfachen Klicks die meisten *versteckten* Einstellungen verändern. Bei Bedarf ist es sogar möglich, ein Backup der alten INI zu erstellen!
Jeppo hingegen, widmet sich mit seinem online Crosshair Designer und Key Binder 2 speziellen Einträgen der UT 3 InIs
Für die WindowsServeradmins gibt es mehrere *Startzeilen* Generatoren um einen UT 3 WindowsServer zu starten. Am Übersichtlichsten ist jedoch der Onlinegenerator von Kitah.org
