Description: Ajax and Argo is a first person shooter developed in the Unreal Tournament 3 Engine. You play as Argo, the robotic defender of his artificial people, wielding Ajax, a powerful weapon that houses the entire AI of his people. It is Argos duty to protect Ajax and deliver him to safety from the merciless human race. The Mark-III Argo has a heavy duty energy shield that can absorb different enemy projectile energies, then transfer them into Ajax to fire back. The energy that Argo transfers to Ajax and converts to fire back is always supercharged, making Ajax and Argo the deadliest robot due Elysium has ever witnessed.

Comments: Hey guys I'm Scott from Mindless Entertainment, I'd like to present to you Ajax and Argo; the culmination of six months of hard word by six students in the VFS game design program. We recently just presented this to people in the Vancouver video game scene, and now we bring it to you! Currently there are no plans to cook it for PS3 but nothing is certain at the moment. Enjoy! Battle Team/Freezetag Arena (BTFA) contains 4 game types where only the most skilled players will win the match. You not only have to kill, you also have to survive to win this.

With Battle Team Arena (BTA) you can die only once. Once all members of a team are eliminated the other team gets a point and wins the round. Then a new round starts. You have to win a configurable number of rounds to win the game.

With Battle Freezetag Arena (BFA) instead of getting killed you can get frozen. Once all members of a team are frozen or dead the other team gets a point and wins the round. Then a new round starts. You have to win a configurable number of rounds to win the game.

New in V9.1:

* The new spawn logic (which keeps space between teams) now works better with custom maps.
* Players now spawn closer to team mates.
* Late game entry detection now only kills you if you spawn when a round has been going on for over 15 seconds.
* If you get killed for late game entry, you now no longer lose a point.
* The HUD now permanently shows who you are spectating (now also in networked mode).
* The clock is now only shown if there is a time limit.
* Improved lazy stat replication so F3 (stats) now works better when you are dead.
* Changed the HUD to always show the team scores.
* Added thaws to the game statistics (in addition to the round statistics).

Description: Prometheus is a single player mission based co-op game in the spirit of Portal and Mirror's Edge. Install:
------------------
On PC: Unpack the .rar into C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\
and override folders if asked to.
On PS3: Copy the USERDATA.JAM on a USB stick, put it into your PS3, start UT3 and import the mod.

Play:
------------------
Start UT3 and select Snowreal as gametype.
Select a map and you're ready to go! Disable bots as they're not supported yet.


Rules:
------------------

To choose RACING MODE:
Set the Scorelimit to 0.
Once the Timelimit is reached, the one with the best time for the parcours wins.


To start a TRICK COMPETITION:
Set the Scorelimit to something higher than 0. The game is over as soon as a player reaches
the Scorelimit or the Timelimit is reached. You should set the Scorelimit to something high like 1000!

Tricks:
------------------
Hold your 'Duck' key and release it to start a trick jump. While in the air, hold a direction
and press a mousebutton/shoot key(L1,R1). You can also combine this with spins. To do so,
hold 'Left' or 'Right' down while you start the trick jump.
-You can combine grabs with spins.
-You can combine forward and backward flip with a spin. Just start the flip right after takeoff!
-Press a mousebutton/shoot key without holding any direction for additional tricks.
-Do not skip a flip, or you will fall! Hold your firebutton pressed until the flip is done, then release!

Description:
This mod creates gametypes that turns UT3 into a 2D game! You jump a little higher, and some things are missing, but other than that it's basically UT in 2D!

Installation:
Installation is pretty straightforward. For PC, just drag the included UTGame folder to "My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3" or wherever you keep your local UT3 files. Then just start up the game, and you'll have three wonderful new gametypes.

For the PS3, place the included USERDATA.JAM file in the root directory (i.e. E:\) of some media the PS3 can read, like a USB flash drive. Start UT3 on the PS3, plug in the media, goto Community->My Content and hit [square] to import it. You should now have the gametypes listed.

What's included:
Because of its 2D nature, some weapons had to be modified, and others excluded. Also, obviously default UT3 maps won't work very well with it. Here's a list of what has been modified and what hasn't.

Gametypes:
These are exactly the same as their original shipping counterparts. They only exist to implement the different camera and physics changes. You get:
UT2D Deathmatch
UT2D Team Deathmatch
UT2D Capture The Flag
UT2D Duel

Weapons:
Here is a list of all the weapons that have been modified for 2D gameplay.
Avril (It's silly without vehicles, but I included it anyway)

Flak Cannon (The shells bounce 2D off walls but still spread)
Impact Hammer (Way more useful in this)
Link Gun
Rocket Launcher (The grenades stay on the 2D plane)

Translocator (The disk stays on the 2D plane)

Powerups:
All the powerups are working as well. See mapping notes for a more technical explanation of this.

Cheats:
AllWeapons will now give you the 2D weapons only.
DoubleUp will give you a second 2D Enforcer.

Mutators:
All the shipping mutators should work except Weapon Replacement and Instagib.

Controls:
The controls are simple. Everything is for the most part the same as UT3. The only change is forward and backward ('W' and 'S' on a keyboard and up and down on the left analog stick) now make you jump and crouch respectively.

Description: Domination based Games and Maps for UT3
Domination, Double Domination, Vehicle Domination, and Vehicular Double Domination game types. All Domination based games support up to 4 team play. Includes 10 maps: 6 are remakes of originals and the others 4 are completely new maps. It is also fully configurable for all of the games settings via the WebAdmin.

However, they got me into the Unreal scene on November 21, 1997, and without them, I would've never would've become the person that I am now...playing the 1337 1998 game: Unreal (later Unreal Tournament in 1999).

ut3-rippernew2It can be considered a "port" of the original Ripper from UT. It's not, however, a complete carbon copy - there is a new, more detailed model, and the weapon is much "beefier" overall - you can decapitate your enemies, pin their bodies to walls and ceilings and send them flying into the air with the secondary mode's payload bomb. And yes, you can decapitate yourself with your own blades!
