Hi everyone. Welcome to my CTF-Dreary3 Release Thread.
Name: CTF-Dreary3 Version: 1.1 for UT3 Description: This is a very high quality map, If you cannot play EPICs maps then you may have trouble playing this map also.
This map took roughly 3 months start to Finish.
Full Bot Support in this level.
Tested vigorously no bugs found.
This is a remake of CTF-Dreary made for UT1.
Allot of meshes have will be turned off for low end systems so hopefully that will help, but it should still look good.

This is the second map that I have ever made. But I have been editing EPIC and user made maps since UT1 for my own personal use against bots.
In comparison to CTF-Safeguard, allot of time has been spent optimizing this map.
This map was made In many different stages, all in a separate UT3 file, which I tested individually, this came to a total of 8 files, Which were copied into a final file, no file was copied into this final joint file until I was satisfied that no further changes were to be made that would require a build. These 8 Files are the 8 folders I have in the making of Dreary3. Once in the Joint file. Bot pathing was added and a very basic room was created to link to all paths and was used to hold blue flag. I then tested how the red team would use these paths.
Once satisfied, I would remove this basic room, select all, and spin the entire map a full 180 degrees. after changing the lights etc the blue base is bourn.

I chose to post here because the mod is mainly almost a copy cat of Killing Floor. It is for ut99, but want comments from those who have ut99 and played killing floor to tell me if this mod is fun :)
I made the mod in 5 days and used killing floor stuff, and when you play it you will find it very fun. The zombies know whereever you are and you have to survive, it is a survival coop like killing except different monsters, maps and the weapons are all given to you and you go to a robot in maps to load your guns and health up, but they go at slow rate and you can't stay there long or you'll get eaten. I don't claim this mod as my work, I say the makers of killing floor made it because I used their stuff :)

Welcome to the killing Grounds! yes if you say this copies Unreal tournament 2004's Killing floor mod, you are almost right! We'll it's not exactly like Killing floor
but you'll still have fun with what I cooked up.
About mod:
This is a zombie survival mod for Unreal Tournament. Object of game is fun and stay alive!
Gameplay:
There are 9 maps inside!
Different types of weapons to use!
A load up robot that boots your health and ammo up!
Just frag away at the bloody and nasty zombies and creeping things that come after you. Don't hide! They know where you are! You just gotta keep your ammo and use it wisely!
Zombies come in waves, and as waves go up sooner or later the zombies upgrade to bigger or worse zombies!
You are you team must work hard to stay alive or you will all die!
In the last wave please watch for a humongus blood thirsty Nali!
Configure:
You can configure how many waves you want to play!
You can configure how many zombies to kill in each wave
You can configure how many zombies can be present at one time for less lagg and impossible gameplay!
and You can configure the rest time in between each wave!

You need to put the file here: C:\Documents and Settings\<userID>\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps
then it should show up on your list of instant action deathmatch maps
